Wanted: Part-time entry-level remote JavaScript developer
Who are we?
Toolkit LLC is a small team with a big impact. We have built a portfolio of 12 apps that help companies ensure compliance with environmental regulations. We are looking to expand one of our biggest apps to serve many more customers in the coming year. If you join us, your work will directly:
- Help people navigate a quagmire of regulations, saving time, money, and frustration.
- Keep your fellow citizens informed by ensuring data on usage of pollutants and hazardous substances are accurately reported to the government.
- Create a world that runs more cleanly and efficiently, by identifying where our customers can improve their operations.
Details of the Position
- Pay is $25-$40/hour.
- You must reside in Arizona.
- Hours are flexible, but we do expect you to establish a consistent schedule of ~20 hours a week so we can coordinate easily with you.
- You will attend morning standup meetings on the days you work.
- You will need a reliable internet connection.

Experience with the technologies in our stack is a plus, but is not required.
Hiring Process
- We will screen the information you provide to us, and will reach out to you in a week or so if we decide to move forward.
- We will schedule 1 hour video call with you. During this call, we will present you with a programming problem to solve and give you some code to review. We're looking to gauge your level of experience and understand your thought process. We do not ask esoteric algorithms questions, nor do we expect you to memorize leetcode problems.
- After we have had time to assess several candidates, we will let you know whether we would like to hire you.
- If you accept, we will get your schedule established, invite you to meet the team, and give you your first item to work on.
